FWJK STARTS CONSTRUCTION ON SECOND MICRO INDUSTRIAL PARK IN DURBAN
FWJK has started construction on its second 10 300 square meter micro industrial park in Durban's Cornubia Industrial Estate. To be known as Foundry Park, the R95 million development will comprise of seventy-six factory units, varying in size from 63 square meters to 350 square meters.
The Foundry Park micros were snatched up within weeks of the Phase 1 sales launch, following on from the success of FWJK's first sixty unit micro industrial development at Cornubia Industrial Estate, called Micro Park. Micro Park was completed in January earlier this year.
FWJK noticed that the smaller factory units in their mini park developments always sold first. The group detected a gap in the market for ultra small factory units preferred by small businesses and emerging start-ups.
Phase 1 has broken ground which is scheduled for completion in October 2019, with Phase 2 launching in early 2019.
